30 AUGUST, UPM SERDANG - Student Highest Council Kolej Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah (KOSASS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has been involved in the National Day Celebration Ceremony 2018, which was first time organised by the Student Affairs Division of UPM.

This is a new programme which aims to provide a new exposure to all the student leaders about the patriotic spirits of Malaysia which is important for the development of the nation.

"Tanpa pemimpin yang cemerlang, tanpa kemerdekaan yang sebenar" said Akmal Hilman, one of the student leader from Kolej Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah. According to Akmal, this programme makes him feel proud and strong of sense of belonging as one of the family member to this university, of course to the nation. 

There is a total of 500 UPM students and staffs had been attended to this ceremony, with their fully high spirit shown in the happening night. The activities included of flag lifting ceremony, singing performance, poem singing performance by all the residential college principals, without forget about the peak event on the night, the firework performance.
