RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR STUDENTS' ACCOMMODATION IN UPM

1. Cleanliness of houses/rooms are seem to be a collective responsibility. The resident has to ensure the house and room always to be clean and tidy.
2. The trash inside the room has to be thrown into the dustbin which has prepared at outside of the house/room for everydays.
3. Throwing anything outside from the windows is prohibited.
4. Bed covers and pillowcase must be used for all the times.
5. Patching, scribble or makes dirty on any furnitures or wall is prohibited.
6. Drying of clothes is only allowed at the prepared clothesline.
7. Switching off the lights and fans before leaving the room is necessary.  
8. Amendments of any electric or internet devices are prohibited.
9. The electric appliances which is allowed to use in the room are radio, charger for handsets, computer and printer which are in low volt.
10. Pets are not allowed for the room.
11. Cooking is not allowed in the room, even the block.
12. Resident is not allowed to move, change or modify any furnitures inside the room.
13. Any damages have to be reported to the general office of college immediately.
14. The resident is not allowed to share the room to the public without getting the permission from college management.
15. Changing of house/room/partition is not allowed without the permission from the principal of college.
16. Bringing, keeping or ownes of alcohols, drugs, pornography, weapons and smoking are not allowed. 
17. Making noise or disturbing to anyone is prohibited. 
18. Facilities and house/room conditions will be recorded and checked for every semester of the academic session. The resident who registered for the related room will be penaltied for about RM50.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Fifty only) OR pay the fee to repair (according to the market price) for the vandalism cases OR expelled from college for any behaviors which violated the rules and regulations of the college. 
19. Resident is prohibited to bring back the different gender student or public into the house/room.
20. Resident who has violated the rules and regulations of student accommodation will be penaltied based on Arahan Tetap Kolej Kediaman Pindaan 2015 or expelled from the college.
