The KOSASS Gempur Tani Project was a program organized by the College Representative Council, Kolej Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah (KOSASS) session 2020/2021 with the cooperation of the Management Of Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College led by PK Azhar bin Badruddin. This programme is carried out to raise a group that is trained and skilled in agriculture. Besides that, this programme was also carried out to embody progressive agro-entrepreneurs among collegiates.

On March 24 2021, the field preparation activities for dragon fruit were initiated under the KOSASS Gempur Tani Project. Currently, watering and fertilization activities are still carried out periodically. On 25 July 2021, the dragon fruit seemed to grow very well and is expected to produce in September 2022.

Besides dragon fruit planting activities, corn cultivation activities were also carried out on 08 June 2021. Corn cultivation was carried out in the dragon fruit cultivation area as the area is known to receive full sunlight support. Watering and fertilization activities were carried out periodically with the help of collegiates and MPK in the college. On 25 July 2021, corn trees have started to produce flowers and are expected to be harvested next week.

Under the KOSASS Gempur Tani Project, chili cultivation using polybags was also carried out. Chlli cultivation began on 08 June 2021 with the help of collegiates who were staying in the college during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period. The development of chili plants on 25 July 2021 showed positive development as the chili trees grew well. Regular maintenance and fertilization activities were also carried out.

The implementation of the KOSASS Gempur Tani Project hopes to provide an opportunity for committee members and collegiates to gain agricultural knowledge, especially in terms of cultivation and entrepreneurship. Through this activity, it can help to embody students with agricultural knowledge as well as improve the sustainability of agriculture in college and university level in general.
