SERDANG,UPM- On 30 April 2024 at the same time as Tuesday, the College Representative Council (MPK), Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) Session 2023/2024 in collaboration with the Student Union, Student Affairs Division (BHEP), Waqf Management Center, Zakat and Endowment (WAZAN) and KOSASS Management held the Closing Ceremony of the KOSASS Mega Festival (Mega FESKOS) 2024 which was held at Dataran Merpati, KOSASS from 8.30pm to 11.00pm. The arrival of collegiates and invited guests was also very encouraging that night. This program is also sponsored by some familiar companies namely Proton Holdings Berhad, DOMASPORTS SDN. Ltd. General's Lodge and LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION.
The winners of the KOSASS Sport Day (KOSSPORD) 3.0 program, Block Entrepreneurship Carnival (KKB), KOSASS Cultural Image Night (MCKK) and Adiwarna Interblock held under Mega FESKOS 2024 were also announced as well as the presentation of prizes to the winners. For KOSSPORD 3.0, the winner of the Best Men's Team category was won by Blok Kijang while the Best Women's Team was won by Blok Seladang. As for the overall winner of KOSSPORD 3.0, it fell to Blok Rajawali. Next for the KKB program, the first place winner fell to Blok Napuh followed by Blok Merpati in second place and Blok Raja Udang in third place. In addition, the first place winner of Adiwarna Interblock went to Block Rusa, the second place was Block Seladang and the third place was held by Blok Merpati. The climax of the closing ceremony became more lively when the MCKK winners were announced. The champion was won by Blok Raja Udang, the runner-up was won by Blok Merpati, the third place fell to Blok Helang and the overall winner of MCKK was embraced by Blok Merpati. All winners' decisions are final from the jury after being announced.
KOSASS Mega Festival Director, Saudara Muhammad Aqil Iqbal Bin Mohd Jamil who is MPK KOSASS Session 2023/2024 also expressed his hopes and improvements after the Mega FESKOS 2024 is held. In the online interview held, he was very satisfied with the response from the collegiate side as well as raising the visibility of KOSASS. He also emphasized that the Mega FESKOS 2024 committee should make more thorough and intensive preparations to ensure the smoothness of the ceremony on the day of the incident. The initial preparations in terms of logistics play a role in the facilities available in the Mega FESKOS 2024 program. Finally, his hope as the program director is that this program can continue to ensure the collegiate involvement of KOSASS with the programs held that include various aspects such as sports, culture and others in order to create harmony and create a good college atmosphere between the college and collegiate parties.
