The Sports and Recreation Secretariat, College Representative Council (MPK), Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) Session 2022/2023 in collaboration with the KOSASS Management organized the Bengkel Asas Pengurus Pasukan Sukan Kolej on 2 April 2023. The Bengkel Asas Pengurus Pasukan Sukan Kolej is a first-time programme to be held in this college. This program has targeted 50 participants among the collegiates of Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College which prioritize the managers for Sukan Kolej this semester. This workshop was delivered by Mr. Razizi bin Midin, Head Unit, Facility and Sport Operation Unit and dan Mr. Yusri bin Mohamad Nor, the Assistant Officer of Youth and Sports, Sports Management Unit from UPM’s Sports Academy and was also attended by the advisory fellows from Sports and Recreation Secretariat. While the closing ceremony of Bengkel Asas Pengurus Pasukan Sukan Kolej was attended by Puan Nur Hidayah Tina binti Abdullah as the Vice Head Fellow. The main goal of the Bengkel Asas Pengurus Pasukan Sukan Kolej is to provide exposure to collegiates about the managers’ skills other than producing managers that can handle college’s athletes with the best service. This matter can indirectly lift the name of Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) in the field of sports especially in the College Sports (SUKOL) that will be contested. Bengkel Asas Pengurus Pasukan Sukan Kolej which was held starting 8 in the morning until 12.30 afternoon and having two slots before the closing ceremony which held at 1 evening. This program has received a positive response from each block when the attendance recorded almost 40 collegiates.
