SERDANG,UPM- The College Representative Council (MPK) Session 2023/2024 in collaboration with the Student Union, Student Affairs Division (BHEP), Waqf, Zakat and Endowment Management Center (WAZAN) and Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College Management (KOSASS) has organized a Night KOSASS Cultural Image (MCKK) which is a sub-program under the KOSASS Mega Festival (MEGA FESKOS) 2024. This program was held on 29 April 2024 (Monday) from 8.30pm to 11.30pm at Dataran Merpati, KOSASS.
According to the director of this sub-program, sister Sarah Ainun Nisa binti Mohamad Hasni has stated that the purpose of this program is to strengthen and further dignify the field of culture in KOSASS. He said again, this MCKK only started as a short theater competition but he wants to make reforms this year by giving a greater scope of variation to the collegiates for each block to unearth talent and showcase their creativity in expressing cultural messages according to the theme that has been set .
The presence of the students for this program was very encouraging because it was flooded with KOSASS students as well as students from other colleges. 10 blocks have competed for the title of champion. The participants were also very creative in showing their fashion and presented a solid performance.
It is hoped that a program like this will be able to change for the better in the collegiate in the future by providing exposure to cultures from various nations as well as strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between students.
