IMPLEMENTATION OF EKSA AUDIT

SERDANG, UPM - Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) has completed the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) audit evaluation on 10 January 2024 (Wednesday) by the designated auditor. EKSA is held with the aim of creating a conducive work environment that has a corporate, creative and innovative image with the application of green sustainability practices. The implementation of EKSA at KOSASS is also in line with the current changes and requirements that emphasize improving organizational performance and competitiveness as well as empowering a creative and innovative culture among KOSASS collegiates.
Throughout the audit, various focuses were given to aspects emphasized in EKSA's criteria, including corporate image, creativity and innovation, a conducive environment and existing practices in 5S, which are aspects of a clean, tidy, orderly and safe work environment in line with EKSA's objectives itself.
Various initiatives have been successfully carried out by the Block Chairman for each residential block to meet EKSA's criteria this time, among which, each block held mutual cooperation and painted rooms to ensure that the block was in a neat, orderly and safe condition before the EKSA assessment session. From an innovative aspect, there is an initiative from the block chairman to use second-hand items to decorate the area around the block, such as the use of used car tires as flower pots and also used food boxes as decorations on the block notice board.
Thanks to the cooperation of the fellows in each block and also the management of KOSASS, the transformation of a new and comfortable college for the collegiates who stay has resulted. Not only that, through the help of the Block Chairman, they have succeeded in fostering the spirit of cooperation and helping each other among the collegiates in the block, even to some extent it has instilled a sense of love and affection for their block. May all KOSASS citizens benefit from the EKSA program which is carried out to achieve the university's desire in supporting efforts towards green sustainability and brightening the environment.
