IMPROVE SAFETY, PREVENT RISKS

SERDANG, UPM - The 2024 Emergency Training Briefing Program has been successfully implemented at Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). This program was held on November 7, 2024, with the aim of emphasizing the safety measures to be taken by collegiates in the event of a fire incident at the residential college.
The director of the program, brother Muhammad Rais bin Muhammad Sharifuddin, explained that the preparation of this program requires collaboration with several parties such as Occupational Safety and Health Management (OSH), the Academic Staff Association (PPA), the University Health Center (PKU) and the college management including the Council College Representative (MPK) and UNITY Club. This careful preparation process takes almost a week to ensure that this emergency exercise runs smoothly and effectively.
Brother Rais also said "Through this program, it is hoped that all collegiates can learn the steps that need to be taken in an emergency situation, at the same time reducing the risk of injury or damage to property."
May KOSASS be in a safe condition throughout the study period of each collegiate.
