KOSASS CAKNA THE WELFARE OF STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

SERDANG, UPM - Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) always ensures that the rights of students with disabilities (OKU) are guaranteed and is always given attention and priority. This is because the disabled are also part of the KOSASS collegiates who need to be given welfare, equal rights and opportunities to live life like other collegiates.
Therefore, the management of KOSASS has received an official visit, Yang Berbahia Dr. Noraishah Mydin Haji Abdul Aziz, member of the University Board of Directors (LPU) on 10 January 2024 (Wednesday). The purpose of this visit is to discuss and give suggestions for improving the services of the disabled at KOSASS. Also involved is Encik Fuad, Head of the Development and Housing Section and a staff representative of the Student Affairs Division (BHEP).
This meeting as a whole can have a positive impact in facilitating the monitoring and care of disabled students at KOSASS. This can also indirectly create inclusivity between the KOSASS management and the LPU and BHEP to better understand the current situation of disabled students in KOSASS.
Among the initial initiatives taken by the KOSASS management in emphasizing the welfare of disabled students is by donating, among other things, washing machines and microwaves. It is hoped that a small donation can help and ease the burden of disabled students at KOSASS. Not only that, hopefully this donation can give encouragement to OKU students so that they don't let the shortcomings they face become an obstacle in achieving their dreams in the future.
KOSASS people will always be committed to supporting the wishes of the university and will strive to improve facilities and accessibility for the disabled in the college area in line with the KOSASS vision of providing a college that excels in providing comfortable accommodation, a safe and conducive environment for students and producing students with outstanding personality.
