SERDANG, UPM- The 2023/2024 Session Universiti Putra Malaysia College Sports Tournament (SUKPRA) is an intercollegiate tournament held every year at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Among the sports activities that have been contested are tennis, rugby and road relay. At this tournament, the KOSASS women's tennis team has succeeded in becoming the Champion in the Women's Tennis Match. This match has lasted for 4 days which is on 14 to 17 May 2024. For information, this team has been trained by Ms. Azreen Alia Allysa binti Ahmad. They have worked hard in a training session for 5 days. The tennis equipment that has been used during the training session is all from the KOSASS management.
In the initial stage, this women's tennis team has successfully defeated 2 teams, the K10 B and KC B teams. The perseverance of the players in achieving success can be clearly seen through the eyes of the audience. Then in the quarter-finals, this team managed to beat the KTDI A team. Then, they also managed to beat the KMB team in the finals. This victory also shows the perseverance of the KOSASS women's tennis team in maintaining the championship position from the last session. The final prize for this competition was completed by Puan Maizatul Akmam Binti Abas@Abdul Hamid, Assistant Registrar, UPM Sports Academy.
With this golden achievement, it is hoped that the collegiates of KOSASS will always strive to raise and enhance the name of KOSASS even from various aspects so that KOSASS will always be the pride of all. "I hope that the performance of women's tennis in KOSASS can always be maintained in the future" are the words of brother Muhammad Aqil Iqbal bin Mohd Jamil, Sports and Recreation Secretariat, MPK, KOSASS.
