The College Representative Council (MPK), Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) Session 2022/2023 in collaboration with the KOSASS Management, had organised Malam Apresiasi Semai Budi 2023 on June 17, 2023, at the Great Hall, Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Arts and Culture Centre (PKKSSAAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia. Malam Apresiasi Semai Budi 2023 (MASEB 2023) is a premier KOSASS event designed to honour and recognise final-year students who have been involved in offering services and dedication to the institution. The Pastel Fairytale theme was chosen for this year's appreciation night, and butterflies were picked as a representation of the final year students' journey in building memories and experiences throughout their time at Kolej Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah. In addition, Anugerah Bakti Dikenang has also been held as an appreciation and award to final year students who excel in academics, co- curricular, cultural, and other fields. There are 8 awards that have been prepared such as Principal's Special Award, KOSASS Alumni Award, Berlian Sahmura Award, Perkasa Baiduri Award, Nilam Bestari Award, Perdana Zamrud Award, Pintar, Harmoni, Cemerlang Award and Permata KOSASS Award.

Semai Budi Appreciation Night 2023 was officiated by Prof. Associate Dr. Mohd Mursyid bin Arshad, Principal of Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College and was also attended by YBhg. Tan Sri Datuk Seri Haji (Dr) Mazlan bin Lazim, President of the PALAPES U-Putra Alumni Association (ALPUTRA) of Universiti Putra Malaysia and YBhg. Prof. Dr. Ariffin bin Abdu, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Student and Alumni Affairs and Ybhg. Prof. Dr. Ismi Arif bin Ismail, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic and International. The ceremony was also attended by KOSASS Fellows and Staff, Second College Alumni, Residential College Principals, Administrative Officers, Residential College Presidents, and event sponsors. The success of Malam Apresiasi Semai Budi 2023 is the result of all committee members working hardly to mobilise their energy, efforts, and unique ideas in realising this premier dinner.
