The Selangor Native Students Association (PERMAS) in collaboration with the Student Representative Council (MPP) of Universiti Putra Malaysia has organized the Putra Got Talent competition on 26 November 2023 at the Main Stage, Convocation Festival, UPM in conjunction with the 47th UPM Convocation Festival. Putra Got Talent is a competition that opens up opportunities for students to highlight the talent within them. This competition was attended by the Blessed, Prof. Dr. Arifin bin Abdu, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student and Alumni Affairs) of Universiti Putra Malaysia.
KOSASS has sent 2 teams to compete in this event consisting of Sister Siti Nurfarah Izzati Binti Razak, who is also the Culture and Arts Secretariat, the College Representative Council (MPK) Session 2023/2024 has brought a performance entitled 'Aisyah: Monologue of a Graduate' and Pening Group who performed a song called 'Bukan Mudah'. The monologue theater performance by Saudara Siti Nurfarah Izzati binti Razak has been successfully crowned as the runner-up for the Putra Got Talent competition once again making the name of KOSASS.
"Honestly my participation in this competition was not planned but when I was given the opportunity to participate in Putra Got Talent I decided to perform a monologue theater as was revealed to me when participating in the MAKUM competition." said Siti Nurfarah Izzati Binti Razak. According to Sister Siti Nurfarah Izzati, the theater 'Aisyah: Monologue of a Graduate' was also inspired by herself. "I imagine what I will go through after I graduate from Form 6 and I adapt it from Form 6 to after I graduate as a graduate student. So I have included a little element of graduate anxiety and fatigue to face challenges in the outside world.” continued Siti Nurfarah Izzati Binti Razak again.
This achievement was also celebrated by the principal, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mohd. Mursyid bin Arshad as a sign of gratitude for the success achieved. Not forgetting the collegiates who also attended to support the participants from KOSASS.
With this achievement, it is hoped that KOSASS collegiates can continue the spirit of struggle to win the upcoming competitions so that they can continue to make the name of KOSASS.
