SERDANG, 3 NOVEMBER - the Funding and Welfare Secretariat, College Representative Council (MPK), Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) of 2022/2023 Session in collaboration with the Management of Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College has held a programme known as the Sponsorship Talk programme. The programme lasted for approximately 3 hours and was attended by invited speaker, fellows, College Representative Council (MPK) and KOSASS collegiate. This programme took place at Dewan Kenyalang, KOSASS. The purpose of the Sponsorship Talk programme is to educate the KOSASS collegiate on how to get the sponsorship students’ programmes which will be conducted by the students. Additionally, one of the objectives of this programme is to expose the participants regarding the effective strategies in approaching the enlisted companies or any authorised establishments to get sponsors for the students’ programmes. Mr. Husalshah Rizal bin Hussian as an invited speaker of Sponsorship Talk shared numerous knowledge and experiences of him, which related to sponsorship with the audiences throughout this programme. During the Q&A session, Mr. Husalshah answered a question of the best method in applying sponsorship is by having a proper theme or branding in the paperwork. Furthermore, the interesting part is where the participants were advised not to apply for sponsorship directly during the first meeting with any companies or etc., otherwise start the process with a simple meet and greet session. Moreover, Mr. Husalshah also highlight the term that is commonly used in the business world which is the Return Of Investment (ROI), the significant element to increase the chances of obtaining sponsorship. In conclusion, the collegiate of KOSASS who participated in this programme be able to gain beneficial general knowledge which related to sponsorship for the students’ programmes in university. Consequently, the impacts of this programme could polish the determination of the participants to use the knowledge and advice obtained to get the high quality of sponsorship in the future.
