SERDANG, UPM- College Representative Council (MPK), Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) Session 2023/2024 in collaboration with the Student Union, Student Affairs Division (BHEP), Waqf, Zakat and Endowment Management Center (WAZAN) and KOSASS Management have organizing the KOSASS BMX RAYA MEET GATHERING, a collaboration with BMX JIRAN which is a sub-program under the Mega Festival KOSASS (Mega FESKOS) 2024. This program took place on 27 April 2024 (Saturday) from 7.30 am to 2.00 pm.
According to the representative from BMX JIRAN, Mrs. Farah Adura, the purpose of BMX activities conducted in KOSASS is to establish friendship between the BMX community and all KOSASS citizens and to introduce BMX sports which used to be active in the 80s and are now increasingly marginalized.
The community that participated in the program is also the result of the collaboration of various clubs which is the collaboration between BMX JIRAN with BMX Seremban, BMX Sijangkang and 90s Cycle Coat. This program was further enlivened by the presence of approximately 200 individuals from various states throughout Malaysia namely from Perak, Johor, Selangor, the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Melaka, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan and Sarawak.
Finally, the hope from the representatives of BMX JIRAN is to increase collegiate involvement, the ranks of staff and fellows of KOSASS and all UPM citizens to join them in participating in the various activities that have been prepared so that the spirit of collaboration between the two sides will continue to be intertwined. BMX JIRAN also includes gratitude for the willingness of the organizers to invite BMX JIRAN and their collaborators throughout Malaysia to make this BMX KOSASS Raya Meet Gathering a success.
