Sayembara Anak Seni is a programme organised by the Secretariat of Culture and Arts, College Representative Council (MPK), Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College (KOSASS) Session 2021/2022 in collaboration with Sultan Alaeddin Suleiman Shah College Management and Student Affairs Division (BHEP) which took place on 15th November to 4th December 2021 online. This program accepts participation from all students of Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Sayembara Anak Seni is an intercollegiate competition that highlights culture and artistic elements that combine four categories of performing arts, namely singing, dancing, acting and musical instruments called Medan Seni Suara, Medan Seni Tari, Medan Seni Lakon, and Medan Seni Instrumental. The winners for each field were announced at the Closing Ceremony of Sayembara Anak Seni which took place on 4th December 2021 (Saturday) and was held online via KOSASS’s YouTube Channel.

The event was well received by students of Universiti Putra Malaysia. The feedback received from the participants was also positive as the participants were entertained with interesting programme content. It is hoped that this programme can be a platform in producing students with artistic values who are competitive, determined and confident in presenting their talents and creativity while appreciating the value of art and cultural diversity in our country.
